Long gone are those days.  Sorry guys.  I know all 3 of you have missed me... thanks Mom.  Work has been tumultuous.  Not complaining at all, just been swamped with work and I am about to go into October, my busiest month of the year.  But I do have something planned art-wise after my whirlwind of workness calms down a little.  if you've been following my posts or artwork, you've noticed Gwynn.  she is one of the 5 person group of a D&D campaign and I can't stop drawing here (which my friend John D says that will only make her die quicker).  But... I digress... I am planning a web comic / page-posts of the the campaign's story, so you can relive our Thursday night adventures!

I have to send a major flipping shout out to Vaughn from V6 Studios for pimping my page so deliciously like this and coloring my chibi of my asking for Dr Pepper.  Yes, DP is the freaking nectar of the gods.  If you don't believe me, look in my fridge where I keep no less than, and I am not kidding, 2 - 24 cases of DP.  When I get low to about 12 cans, I rush out to get more. It scares me to run out.  It's like heroine, only with caramel fructose corn syrup.  

God, that Chibi looks so damn good colored.  Or, "coloured" for my UK friends.  

Well, I have been drawing a lot lately.  Done a couple non-paying commissions as of late, as it would seem that a friend is always asking, lol.  But mostly I have been working my tail off editing for work.  I love my job.  I so love, love, love it.  How many people can honestly say when they wake up, "Darn it, I am so happy to go to work?"  Well, good friends, I am that percentage.  So no complaining here.

I have been getting ready to start D&D table topping with my friends Andrew, Jay, Eric, Scott and Andrea.  Going to be my first table top campaign since I was 13.  That's 19 years for those who are counting.  I have been fine tuning my character... which I have been drawing like mad lately and posting on here a couple of the sketches, Gwynn.  I'm excited to play her and see how she rolls.

Also, I have been thinking of making a personal book, a book for myself.  One just for me.  Getting commissions from artists to do a piece of a film.  I don't care what film, as long as it's not a super hero movie or pop-comic related.  Ghost World would be OK, Road To Perdition would be OK, Avengers would not.  I want a book of art by artists doing their favorite films or mine if they are stumped, in their style.  Either a key moment, a key memory or scene, or how the film made them feel.  Now I need to pony up the cash... which is always a hard thing, specially since my sole-source of income just took a nose dive and shattered and I had to send it away to get fixed... ending up costing half as much as buying new.  Gah.  Ah well.  Ce La Vie.

Also, a friend of mine, a very good friend, has badgered me into doing a web comic.  Well, I think I may start one of two stories.  1) a fantasy strip following the game my friends and I will be playing, or 2) a long-time coming "slice of life" story about ... well, not really about anything.  So think - Looking For Group or Questionable Content.  We'll see which I pick.
